Shipping Policy
How orders ship on Shopperoll—vendor fulfillment, carriers and methods, how shipping is priced, tracking and delivery, and what happens when a shipment runs into trouble.
Independent vendors ship your items—here’s exactly how that works from checkout to your door.
IMPORTANT: This Shipping Policy explains how orders are shipped on Shopperoll—who fulfills them, how shipping is priced at checkout, which carriers and methods are used, how tracking and delivery work, and what happens when a shipment runs into a problem. Shopperoll is a marketplace of independent vendors. Items are sold and shipped by those vendors, and shipping experiences (carriers, speed, packaging, and handling time) can vary from store to store. This policy describes how the platform handles shipping overall; individual stores may publish their own processing times and shipping details on their store or listing pages.
This Shipping Policy should be read together with our Refund & Return Policy, our Terms of Service, and our Privacy Notice. If there is any conflict between this guide and those policies, those policies control. We may update this Shipping Policy as our shipping tools, carrier integrations, and supported regions evolve.
I. WHO SHIPS YOUR ORDER
Every item on Shopperoll is fulfilled by the independent vendor that sells it. When your order contains items from more than one store, your single purchase is split into separate shipments—one per store. Each shipment can have its own carrier, its own tracking number, and its own delivery timeline, even though you paid once at checkout. Vendors and their fulfillment are currently based in the United States, and orders ship to United States destinations.
II. SHIPPING METHODS (EASYPOST AND MANUAL)
Shopperoll supports two fulfillment methods, chosen per shipment by the vendor:
Platform-integrated shipping (EasyPost). For most shipments, the vendor buys a carrier label through our integrated shipping provider, EasyPost. With this method, live carrier rates are quoted at checkout, the label is purchased through the platform, and tracking is attached automatically so your order timeline updates as the carrier scans the parcel.
Manual shipping. Some vendors ship on their own and add a tracking number manually. With this method the price you pay for shipping is a flat amount set by the store rather than a live carrier quote, and tracking appears once the vendor enters it. Either way, your order page is where you follow delivery progress.
III. SUPPORTED CARRIERS AND SERVICE SELECTION
For platform-integrated shipments, supported carriers currently include USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL eCommerce. The specific carriers available for a given order depend on which carriers the vendor has enabled and which services are available for the parcel and destination. By default, the platform selects the most economical eligible rate for a shipment, and it may use carrier time-in-transit estimates to inform delivery-day expectations. Estimated delivery windows shown at checkout or in tracking are provided by the carrier and are estimates, not guarantees.
IV. HOW SHIPPING IS PRICED AT CHECKOUT
Shipping is calculated per store and added to your order total. If your cart contains items from multiple stores, each store’s shipping is quoted separately and the amounts are summed—so a multi-store order can carry more than one shipping charge, because the items travel in more than one parcel. For platform-integrated shipments, the amount is based on the live carrier rate for the selected service. For manual shipments, the amount is the flat shipping price set by the store.
Regional shipping support. From time to time, Shopperoll may subsidize part of the shipping cost for orders shipping to certain focus regions, which reduces the shipping amount you pay for those orders. Where a subsidy applies, it lowers your shipping price (never below $0.00); where it does not apply, you pay the quoted rate. Any such program is discretionary and may change over time.
Shipping insurance. Shopperoll does not provide shipping insurance and does not add an insurance fee to your shipping rate. Shipping is charged at carrier cost, less any discount we apply. Individual stores may separately arrange their own coverage for the parcels they send, but that is a matter between the store and its own insurer and confers no coverage on you through Shopperoll. If a parcel is lost or damaged in transit, contact us using the details below.
V. ADDRESS REQUIREMENTS
Accurate address details are essential for a label to be purchased and for your parcel to arrive. For platform-integrated shipments, the destination must be a deliverable United States address with a real street line (PO Boxes are recognized where the carrier supports them). A few specifics that help avoid failures:
- Street line must be a street, not a ZIP. Your address line should contain the street (with a house/building number) or a valid PO Box. Putting a ZIP code in the street line can cause the address to be rejected.
- A reachable phone number. Carriers use a valid US phone number for delivery contact and exceptions. An incomplete or invalid number can prevent a label from being created.
- Keep your address current. You can manage your saved addresses in your dashboard. Some orders cannot be edited once fulfillment has begun—if you need an urgent change on an active order, contact the store or Support immediately, as changes may not be possible once the carrier has the parcel.
VI. PROCESSING TIME AND MULTIPLE SHIPMENTS
Processing (or “handling”) time is the period a vendor needs to prepare and dispatch your order before the carrier takes over. Processing times are set by each store and can vary by item, category, and order volume. An order—or even a single store’s portion of an order—may ship in multiple parcels (for example, due to item size, packaging constraints, or stock location). When that happens, each parcel has its own tracking and may arrive on a different day.
VII. TRACKING AND DELIVERY
Once a label is created, a tracking number is associated with your shipment. Movement may not appear until the carrier performs its first scan (pickup or drop-off). As the carrier posts events, your shipment progresses through stages such as pre-transit, in transit, out for delivery, and delivered. When the carrier reports delivery, the delivery is recorded on your order and that item is marked fulfilled.
Tracking updates are sourced from the carrier (via our shipping provider) and may post with a delay. If tracking is missing or stalled, common reasons include the carrier not having scanned yet, a label that was created but not yet handed to the carrier, or a carrier-side delay. Delivery-date estimates can change as the carrier updates the shipment.
VIII. CARRIER EXCEPTIONS AND LOST/DELAYED PARCELS
Sometimes a carrier reports a problem—such as a delivery failure, a return-to-sender, or another exception. When that happens, the shipment is flagged and the vendor is notified so they can look into it. A carrier exception does not automatically trigger a refund. If your parcel is delayed, stuck, marked delivered but not received, or otherwise mishandled, please open a Support ticket (or contact the store through your order page) so we can investigate, coordinate with the store and carrier, and help document the timeline. Refund eligibility in these cases is handled under our Refund & Return Policy.
IX. IF YOUR ORDER ISN’T SHIPPED IN TIME
To protect buyers, if a paid order has not been shipped within 7 days of purchase and there is no active return or refund case on it, Shopperoll may automatically cancel the order and refund you. If your payment was only authorized (not yet captured), the authorization hold is released instead. Full details of how cancellations and refunds are issued are in the Refund & Return Policy.
X. RETURNS AND RETURN SHIPPING
Returns are handled after delivery (or after shipment) under our Refund & Return Policy, which explains return windows, return methods (prepaid label, self-ship, or pickup), who pays for return shipping, and how refunds are calculated. Note that outbound shipping you paid at checkout is generally non-refundable, because the item was already shipped to you.
XI. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Shipping Policy as we add carriers, change shipping tools, adjust supported regions, or improve the buyer experience. When we make significant changes, we may also update related pages so expectations stay consistent across the site. Unless otherwise stated, updates take effect when published.
XII. CONTACT
For help with a shipment—tracking questions, a delivery problem, or a possible lost parcel—use the in-dashboard Support / Help experience or contact us at engage@shopperoll.com. Including your order number, the tracking number (if available), and the approximate time of the issue helps us investigate faster.
